A journey from healing to helping others heal

Namaste,

I’m Anand Prakash — a yoga instructor, a lifelong student, and someone who believes deeply in the healing wisdom that lives within every human being.

I was born in Nepal, surrounded by mountains, rivers, and endless greenery. Growing up in this natural beauty, I often felt a quiet connection with something deeper — a sense of peace that did not depend on anything outside. Even as a young boy in Grade 1, I remember attending satsangs and feeling a deep silence inside me. Those early experiences shaped the rest of my life.

But my true journey into yoga began years later, in 2006, when I was in college and struggling with back pain, digestive issues, and constant headaches. I did not know where to go or who could help me. One day, I saw a simple line in a newspaper:

“Come with illness and go with complete recovery.”

That message changed my life.

I joined my first yoga training not to become a teacher, but because I needed healing. In just 45 days, under the guidance of my first master, I felt my entire life shift — physically, mentally, and spiritually.

My pains were gone, my energy soared, and I felt like I was finally meeting myself for the first time.

Even people around me noticed the transformation.

That was the moment I realized:

Yoga is a precious gift — and I wanted to dedicate my life to sharing it.

Why I Teach Yoga the Way I Do...

Over the last 15+ years, one thing has become very clear to me:

Yoga should never be taught as a one-size-fits-all practice.

I don’t believe in teaching for the masses or running commercial classes where students simply follow movements without understanding what their body truly needs.

Yoga is not an exercise routine.

It is a journey back to oneself — a gentle returning to balance, awareness, and inner peace.

Every human being carries a unique story, a unique body, and a unique emotional world.

That is why I teach yoga differently:

  • I meet each student personally, taking time to understand their health, lifestyle, challenges, and goals.

  • I observe and listen closely to how their body and breath respond during practice.

  • I customize each practice to suit their individual needs — whether in private or group sessions.

  • I offer continuous personal attention, ensuring safety, comfort, and support throughout their healing journey.

I do not compromise on individual care.
I do not believe in rushing anyone.
And I do not believe yoga should be taught blindly without understanding the person in front of you.

For me, yoga begins within — in the breath, in awareness, in stillness — and only then does it express itself outwardly through strength, balance, or flexibility. This inner foundation is what creates real transformation.

This is why I specialize in therapeutic and customized yoga:
because true healing starts from within, and every person deserves a practice that honors their journey.

My journey so far...

2007 - 2014

2014 - 2019

Learning and Serving

I travelled across Nepal and India, staying in ashrams, yoga schools, spiritual centers, and naturopathy centers.
I lived with masters, absorbed ancient teachings, and served as a volunteer teacher. These years gave me the foundation of discipline, humility, and devotion.

Teaching in Dubai

I worked professionally with Bharat Thakur Artistic Yoga, where I gained international teaching experience and had the opportunity to guide students from many different backgrounds, cultures, and abilities. This period helped me refine how I support diverse individuals and adapt my teaching style to meet each person’s unique needs.

After 2019

Walking My Own Path

I began freelancing and started offering:

  • Private sessions

  • Online group classes

  • Workshops

  • Wellness retreats

Students from across different countries joined me, each with their own story — seeking healing, balance, clarity, or strength.

Today, with more than 15 years of teaching and a 7000+ strong growing community, I feel grateful to guide people toward healthier bodies, calmer minds, and deeper connection with themselves.

If you are feeling called to slow down, to listen to your body, and to reconnect with yourself, you are welcome here.
Wherever you are on your journey, I will meet you with care, patience, and respect — and together, we will create a practice that truly supports you.

Namaste,
